Terminal Server 2008 - explorer.exe process disappearing after user logon

inherited terminal server weird issue. every time user (any user) logs in, explorer.exe process other users on server disappears. doesn't crash or hang (procdump shows no errors) - disappears. can respawned entering ctrl+alt+esc , running new process

have tried numerous standard troubleshooting (process explorer, procdump, deleting profiles, disabling shell extensions etc) can't find problem - , it's driving me potty!

hi,

every time user (any user) logs in, explorer.exe process other users on server disappears.

i haven’t seen similar behavior this.

please patch terminal servers , disable installed third party applications see whether issue remains.

best regards,

amy
