Backup solution "all-in-one" (host + guest) .... ???

i have small hyper-v server running 4 guests vm.

is there backup software installable on host server , able to backup full server (including vm) in 1 shot features:

- vss support (1 vm running sql server , 1 sbs server exchange running)

- recovery point browser (to recover individual files in specific snapshot)

- bare metal recovery (for host server in case of disaster)

i found r1soft cdp 3.0 advanced seem have features expensive: host license $499, agent license $699 !!!!

microsoft dpm (data protection manager) can that.

you need purchase standard client license every vm or physical server wish protect @ the file level.

you need purchase enterprise license protect host , vm's taking child partition snapshot backups of vhd's @ host level.

vm's backed host can browsed , can perform item level restores way.

however, best protection of sql , exchange databases, should install standard client inside vm's well.

if you're looking protect host , vm's host level without having to buy expensive solutions, can enable windows server backup feature included in host os.
