Exporting a Hyper-V VM directly to a networked drive

when exporting vm server 2008 sp2 machine, have export local drive.  when put in networked path continually "unable create folder" error.  full proccess export local drive, copy networked drive (which machine import on), import locally.  using admin/domainadmin account.  hyper-v capable of exprting directly machine?
