How to find the default host

is there way know if output of command been logged log file or on host window?

based on info can decide print info on log , on window.

not sure if understand requirement answer depends. depends on cmdlet use.

get-command -verb out list out output related commands. example, out-host sends output command line , out-file sends same file.

similarly, get-command -verb write.
