Minimum hardware requirements: SLAT (EPT)

in past, there have been on-paper "requirements" , actual requirements. they're not same. notice here ept requirement.  does know if that's true, , if so, in respect?  are prevented installing server in first place, or (perhaps) prevented using hyper-v?

incidentally, page, @ least win10 section, isn't intended show actual requirements rather guidelines oems ("this specification not provide compatibility , certification requirements devices , computers run windows 10 or implementation guidance exceptional user experiences. microsoft provide guidance in other documents @ later date.").

that makes me wonder if same true of server section.

computers run windows server 2016 require 64-bit 1.4 ghz or faster processor or soc meets following requirements:
-compatible x64 instruction set.
-supports nx , dep.
-supports cmpxchg16b, lahf/sahf, , prefetchw.
-supports second level address translation (ept or npt).

hi rseiler,

>>i notice here ept requirement.  does know if that's true, , if so, in respect?
