Domain Controller Upgrade from 2012 to 2012 R2

we have 1 of our dc 2012 , in plan upgrade dc 2012 2012 r2. please provide links.

you can read upgrade paths options here :https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dn303416.aspx

for domain controllers there upgrades bit sensitive. can called in-place upgrade 2012 2012 r2 full system backup taken prior in case, although not recommend unless there single dc in domain/forest. can demote dc upgrade os member server , promote safest.

server manager error: ADAM.events.xml could not be enumerated.

i have domain server windows 2000 sp4. my clients using win xp , win 98. when send messages computer management-shared folders-rightclick-all task-send message connected users, message received clients using winxp but not in  win 98 .how send them without winpopup  , net meeting. this forum windows server 2008.   check messenger service running on win98-clients.
