hi,
2 server configured member servers
>> these 2 servers physical computers?
if so, add these 2 servers virtual domain controller running on hyper-v servers?
general speaking, if in product environment, microsoft recommends locate critical server roles on domain controllers installed directly on physical hardware. these include global catalog servers, domain name system (dns) servers, flexible single master operations (fsmo) roles , replication bridgeheads.
you can check following guides.
