Kernel mode printing blocked, but drivers are non-kernel mode
hello,
couple days ago problem appeared out of on 1 of terminal servers. "kernel mode printer blocking policy enabled" error showing in event viewer. i've tried allowing kernel mode printers via group policy, , while allows problem printers installed, jobs sent printers hang in queue. i've checked versions of drivers printers , they're version 3, not version 2. so, drivers in question aren't kernel mode drivers!
i haven't installed updates or made changes recently- problem did appear out of blue. i've got terminal server configured same 1 having problem, , 1 works fine.
i've googled , googled haven't found answers. have ideas?
i'm going reboot problem server tomorrow after hours see if fixes anything.
