Service Pack (SP1 2008 R2) installation failed with error code 0x80070002

hello

i not able install windows sever 2008 r2 sp1, following errors in event log:

1. changes update(service pack microsoft windows (kb976932)) failed during service pack installation.
    identity:     package_for_kb976932~31bf3856ad364e35~amd64~~6.1.1.17514
    error code:   0x80070002
    target state: 7

2. service pack installation failed error code 0x80070002.

3. installation failure: windows failed install following update error 0x80070643: windows server 2008 r2 service pack 1 x64-based systems (kb976932).

i have 4 servers windows server 2008 r2. 3 of them updated correctly , one, hyper-v host server, not.

please me.

can try installing tool below , check these logs when complete:

%systemroot%\logs\cbs\checksur.persist.log

server manager error: ADAM.events.xml could not be enumerated.

i have domain server windows 2000 sp4. my clients using win xp , win 98. when send messages computer management-shared folders-rightclick-all task-send message connected users, message received clients using winxp but not in  win 98 .how send them without winpopup  , net meeting. this forum windows server 2008.   check messenger service running on win98-clients.
