DfsrRo continues to protect a folder on a RO member after it's no longer replicated

removed replicated folder in dfs management console, waited ad replication, ran update-dfsrconf...fromad, waited more, confirmed folder in question no longer showed in dfsr config on members, restarted dfsr service, waited several hours more. dfsrro filter driver still blocking write i/o on folder @ former read-only member. tested temporarily unloading driver ensure is, indeed, driver that's blocking i/o , not other permissions.

any ideas on how filter driver refresh configuration?

from description, remoted replicated folder dfsr group, still read-only.

above please check if caused permission instead of dfsr - check ntfs permission of folder , make sure account trying write data has permission write. can test give full control permission test account.
