Is Windows 2000 Server standalone DFS root able to share out Novell netware 3 (IPX) share?

is windows 2000 server standalone dfs root able share out novell netware 3 (ipx) share?

hi customer,

based on research, netware-based server can have share configured windows distributed file system (dfs) link target. however, need note when share netware-based server that: novell netware common internet file system (cifs) service may not able complete pass-through authentication servers running microsoft windows 2000 or microsoft windows server 2003. issue occurs because novell netware cifs uses ntlm authentication , not support server message block (smb) signing.

to resolve problem, please refer to:

if have question netware, suggest post in netware newsgroup. engineers , newsgroup members there have more experienced on related issues, , can provide suggestions on kind of issue.
