Loss of Audio and Browser / OS Crashes (Panasonic CF-52 Toughbook - MK3)

recently (past day or so) have noticed loss of audio (internal speaker , external headphone jack). indications audio being processed internally audio card in cases metering differing functions active in correspondence test sounds or music being played no audio being played on speakers or earphone jack.

also after reading on being common difficulty... attempted system rollback not successful through multiple restore points when os built.

i have tried removal of audio drivers (all) , allowed os re-install @ re-boot had far not restored audio heard. close assessment of audio @ full volume did not reveal noise or decreased audio. also, upon reboot audio indicator in lower right tray repeatedly initializes in muted condition. unmuting not restore audio.

another observation. morning upgraded latest build. upon os stabilizing post build upgrade latest, equipment able access network / internet. upon initializing either ie explorer or mozilla firefox  without displaying target webpage os crash , self reboot each time. rolled previous os build.
