Win2k R2 SP1 Install on Domain Controller failure

this our second dc have attempted install sp1 2008 r2 on , have run problems again. first 1 hosed our secure channel , created sorts of problems. time install failed.

here seeing. install starts , runs 45 minutes fails error 0x800f081f.

i ran system update readiness check , these results...

roles on server dc , dns. thoughts?

hello,

for faulty dc, make sure have @ least 1 dc / dns / gc server left in ad domain , then:

• perform metadata cleanup
• resize fsmo roles

and re-install faulty dc os , promote again , make dns , gc server.

you can perform same thing dc on experiencing update problem.
