IIS7 - midnight timeouts

we have third party web application runs on iis7 (windows server 2008) against sql server 2005 database on different server.  sql server behind our isa2006 firewall; iis on other side.  every night @ midnight goes timeout , not run again until - believe or not - recreate database.  know doesn't make sense, it's thing i've found works.

the database small (500 mb), , works fine, don't think problem there.  there noting in logs, except imeout itself, , nothing scheduled time.

this issue can related iis or sql server. therefore, not best resource troubleshoot it. suggest discussing issue in our iis or sql server forum.

server manager error: ADAM.events.xml could not be enumerated.
