Updating Windows 2003 schema to utilize 2003 R2 features

hello,

   trying utilize new print management features windows 2003 r2 on our print server, need update ad schema ver. 31. 2 dc's running windows 2003 sp2 - standard edition.

just little paranoid when comes making changes. know need copy adprep r2 cd our dc has 5 roles run following command:

c:>adprep /forestprep

just wondering if there potential issues run into? should update take place after hours, etc...

i guess question how can tell current schema version is?
