hello carlo,
i have seen issue few times , when pasting html content word, word process performing html compatibility (if \* in html code i've seen cause problems) or word crashing when trying spell check not recognize or conflict in spell check. when 3rd party applications have "hooks" word, can read called process , depending on functionality of act or not.
i've got 2 suggestions.
1st, know there no 3rd party addins enabled, i'd try going start/run , type in:
winword.exe /a
then hit enter , try paste in content html formatted text. if not reproduce, it's 3rd party dictionary has been added word. suggest looking through add/remove programs see if case.
if reproduce in /a mode, rename word registry key may corrupt setting maybe left old dictionary or input word. can following these steps:
- close word , outlook
- click on start/run , type in: regedit
- hit enter open registry editor
- browse location clicking on plus signs in front of each key (folder):
hkey_current_user\software\microsoft\office\11.0\word
- rename word key word wordold
- minimize registry , try reproduce issue in word
some people rename data , options keys, renaming entire key me more practice maintenance.
please let me know how goes carlo.
