WSUS for one time update

i know if there way use wsus 1 time update, in non active directory environment. server hosting company , load windows on anywhere 20 - 100's of servers day. looking solution use internally allow patch newly installed server , hand on customer.

i know can change registry settings in non ad evironment point server @ wsus server, looking way without having make changes registry, because once have server loaded, hand on customer manages own environment.

if wsus cannot accomplish this, there other ways of getting done? there way bundle windows udpates single package? although still want use somthing wsus dont have manually add new updates package, if thats way, please explain how can done.

thanks in advance.

i'm not licensing guy please keep in mind. however, think while servers under control/ownership (in 'build' phase) should able point them internal wsus box , patch them approved baseline. right before deliver system customer can run batch/script undo wsus settings , revert default (i.e. pointing microsoft's public update servers). sounds simple solution.

another solution slipstream current service pack , hotfixes base os build. however, need updated monthly , out of hand (especially when think end-to-end testing, etc.). so... use kiss method , point internal wsus box while under control. run cleanup script before shipping , set. there plenty of publicly available script/batch files control au behavior. ping if have additional concerns.
