locating print queue/spooler for WAN printing
we have branch office needs print printers in corporate office (long story). i'm trying place print queue , print server efficient use of bandwidth. printers have internal ip print servers, , are pcl5/6. these print usual mix of business documents, text graphics.
would better locate print queues on servers on same subnet printers? or, better locate queues in branch office, , have queues access internal print servers on wan? don't intuitively know data stream denser, documents sent print queues, or pcl stream sent integral print servers.
we don't have kind of wan compression device, if makes difference.

i think better locate print queues on servers on same subnet printers, server part of print spooler handle printing jobs mostly.
