poor response when using RDS

hi all,

i setup windows 2008 standard server , testing out rds.  the server hosted on vmware esxi 1 virtual cpu , 4gb of ram. 

i have wyse s30 using test , visual performance not expected be.  when first login, desktop picture background slow , loads in top down block pattern.  moving screens around blotchy.  if go msn.com , let site sit there...  the picture changes every few seconds (right under search bar) shakes moves across screen. wyse winterm located on same switch server its'self. connected via 100mb link.  the wintern running windows ce 6.0

i tried rdp same server via desktop pc , visual performance better though sound , video slower.  honestly okay sound , video being crappy not okay visual experience on winterm.

any suggestions on how resolve this?

if not connection issue,then likely, windows ce 6.0 , legacy rdc client may root cause.pls try update rdc version 7 if possible,and install .net 3.5 see whether works.to better enjoy 08 rds, suggest you  use client os(ex. windows 7 based on rdc 7) have test.if there other newly supported windows thin client version,pls try see whether performance better.
