RD Web Access Server

i pretty far along in build of windows server 2008 r2 remote desktop services server. going well, @ point of configuring rd web access server , have run across requirement connection name , id use customer remoteapp access.  how is used customer once configured - customers need know in order to connect (as in; the connection name part of web address customer browses to)or authenticate using connection name , id or both.  how present customer\user? this is important knowledge of use , whether or not attach or create significant, meaningful name , id.  thanx

the connection name , id (that can specify in rdwebaccess.config file) used remoteapp , desktop connection access. win7 feature (you can see in control panel - puts remoteapps rdsh onto win7 client start menu, ie. user not need go website first remoteapps).

usually, above taken care of rdcb (if use remoteapp source in rdwa). if use "one or more remoteapp sources" instead, when have manually configure specified file. again, users can use remoteapp , desktop connections feature of win7. if not using this, dont need put in place.

regardless of whether choose manually configure config file or not, need following:

in rdwa configuration page, add servername (servername.domain.suffix) of rdsh server.

when users go https://servername/rdweb, pull website , able log in, , remoteapps provided on rdsh server.

make sense?

hope helps,
