hi simon,
thanks post.
the issue occurs because certificate not trusted. according description, think using self-signed certificate. therefore, issue goes away after add certificate trusted root certification authorities store on user’s pc. if there have misunderstood, please feel free let me know.
as far know, self-singed certificate not renewed automatically. may have create new self-signed certificate , import user’s pc. actually, self-singed certificate used test purpose, i suggest request certificate ca instead of using self-signed certificate in production environment.
