Can I resolve a DFSR member's GUID with WMI (don't want to use dfsrdiag)
i know can resolve dfsr members guid with dfsrdiag guid2name /guid: /rgname:
but prefer wmi if possible.
are dfsr classes offer functionality, did not see any?
well figured out finally. verbose switch came rescue.
"dfsrdiag guid2name /guid:<> /rgname:<> /v" show dfsrdiag command doing wmi query on ever rg member:
[info] issuing query: select * dfsrvolumeinfo volumeguid="my-guid" or databaseguid="my-guid"
makes sense why taking long. @ least know.
