Microsoft Telnet not closing sessions

hello,

not entirely sure if posting in correct forum please forgive me if didn't.

my company uses microsoft telnet on windows server 2008 r2 run packing application. run "no more connections allowed telnet server" error. max connections parameter set 240, , never seem hit 240 before hit wall.

it looks there conhost.exe processes hang open , not close themselves. how can solve this?

we have program manages connections , allows 4 @ telnet login @ once (per ms design). packing application runs after getting past ms telnet login. terminates connections after period of inactivity, these conhost.exe processes stuck sometimes.

thanks help.

might user or application not issue close command @ end of session.
