Not able to grant a user the permission to add workstations to domain
i trying grant permission add workstations domain few users in company , doing via gpo using following steps:
1. open default domain group policy.
2. navigate through computer configuration / windows settings / security settings / local policies / user rights assignment.
3. expand user rights assignment.
4. double-click add workstations domain.
5. check define these policy settings box.
6. press add user or group button.
7. complete dialog add user or group.
8. press apply , ok.
after performing these steps still "access denied" message!!!
is there else should configured or missing something?

use instructions provided in http://blogs.dirteam.com/blogs/jorge/archive/2006/01/05/369.aspx instead. in general, might want designate default ou (by running redircmp.exe) in computer accounts created - or use netdom /ou switch when adding computers domain - ensure end in appropriate ad container. then, assign appropriate ou permissions (as described in jorge's article referenced above)...
