User object properties not syncing between dashboard and ADUC / Office365 sync error

i have new server 2012 essentials server in brand new domain.  users created in office365.  have imported them dashboard.

1.  after import dashboard, users' display names same logon names.  change synced out office365.  e.g - john smith (jsmith@domain.com) had display name changed john smith jsmith.  had manually go in , change each 1 in office365.  in server 2012 dashboard, can make change there , syncs out office365 after time.  didn't realize @ first , users complaining display names in emails sending out.  design or a bug?

2.  user accounts in dashboard have new user objects in aduc, display names not synced.  have go each ad object , manually re-name , manually put in user's first name , last name.  design or not that's been implemented?  seems i'm managing user accounts/objects in 2 places , pain.

so have import them o365, re-name them in dashboard, wait propagate out o365, , change each aduc object manually.  kludgy.

1. firstname/lastname not sync office 365 essentials server, indeed current behaviour, though not design.

2. when change firstname/lastname in dashboard, samething in ad object, think no need change in 2 places.

3. did mean syncing out office 365 ? thought there password sync between essentials server , o365 once finish account import.
