This installation CD is not compatible

here´s im doing:

i´m trying migrate windows server 2003r2 enterprise windows server 2008r2 enterprise.

i´ve done following:


1. verify new server's tcp/ip configuration has been pointed current dns server.

2. make new server become member server of current windows server 2003 domain first.

3. upgrade windows server 2003 forest schema windows server 2008 schema "adprep /forestprep" command on old server.

4. run "adprep32.exe /forestprep" command windows server 2008r2 installation disk on schema master. this, i´m insert windows server 2008r2 installation disk, , type following command:

 
a) drive:\sources\adprep\adprep32 /forestprep

b) drive:\sources\adprep\adprep32 /domainprep /gpprep

 

5. i´ve transfered fsmo:s new server 2008r2

 

6. verified functional level 2003

 

7. windows server 2003r2 with sp2

 

8. within server 2003r2 i´m trying run windows server 2008r2 enterprise installation disk recive error message:

 

this installation cd not compatible version of windows..

anyone??

are using windows 2003 32 bit server?  windows 2008 r2 available in 64 bit.  you can’t perform in-place upgrade 32 64 bit.  cross-platform upgrade not supported.

you need install windows 2008 r2 on new server , add additional dc existing domain.

Cannot access Anywhere Access using domain name?

after installing anywhere access in windows server 2012 essentials r2, cannot use anywhere access using setup domain name in wizard such remote.mydomain.com? if enter public ip address, example, 72.2.34.5 works. before set anywhere access, created a record pointing public address...pinged , worked...so not sure doing wrong?  is wizard supposed create record etc , make remote.mydomain.com work? if enter public ip address while on lan, takes me router webpage.  shouldn't work on lan if accessed via public ip? thank you, tim. the wizard can configure remote.microsoft_names.com  remote.remotewebaccess.com but cannot configure domains purchased outside wizard.  depends on how domain configured if wildcard.yourdomain.com should work  if try ping remote.your_domain.com afar , not give proper  public ip, need add record mariette said. much have record domain.com www.domain.com , if have website somewhere else www.domain.com , need remote.domain.com go box gr

WMI Failure: Unable to update Local Resource Group
