hi all, i'm using windows server 2012 data center os , configured hyper-v server role fail-over cluster (4 node – cluster). each physical server installed 2 qlogic hba adapters. we have configured following configuration on hyper-v server , san (hp) storage. enabled virtual san manager. created each hyper-v host virtual fiber channel switch. each host configured 2 adapters. i new terminal services , still in experimental/familiarisation stage.  i have been experimenting full remote desktop sessions , ts remoteapps.  .rdp files have created result in the same behaviour: when double clicked, open the session logoff , close.  has else experienced or know doing wrong. the terminal server on 64bit win 2008 standard server. thanks in advance in server manager, on server, installed role 'terminal services' includes: ts remoteapp manager, terminal services configuration  (under licensing diagnosis)  & terminal services manager.  there no remote desktop services role , not in list of available roles add.  isn't in system services add either. with regards remote desktop users group.  have tried add individual users, when try apply change  says user member, assumed members because domain users.  not case? apparently role names , possibly other details have changed between 200...

i apologize if in wrong subforum. my situation is, have server 2k8 r2 (15 cals) running, , 10 workstations (win7 pro) connect it, in domain. (i use joe example user). 2 of profiles work, (roaming). remaining not roam @ all. i walked server, opened ad, created new user, called them joe, created pw, no reset, never expires. set user profile \\server\profiles\%username% when log work station, creates  c:\profiles\joe.v2 on server. i log out of work station, reboot, log in make desktop change, create folders, drop text file, etc. , log out. i go work station on network, , log in joe, , not pull profile, none of changes made appear save. if log onto first work station, of changes there.   permissions on server c:\profiles\ set full control, , includes child objects. i need create 10 user accounts, have administrator access (ability install software). need them roaming. it should pretty straight forward, bending brain. thanks help. hello, at moment soun...
